Uniform
At St Mary’s uniform is not compulsory but we do encourage our children to wear our uniform as it helps them feel part of our community here and belong to something special. All our staff wear matching uniform and our children love to match their teachers and friends. Wearing our uniform also means it makes it much easier for our families to just pop any clothing regularly in the wash as we often get pretty messy!!
Our uniform consists of:
- St Mary’s polo t-shirt
- Sweatshirt and /or fleece.
- On the bottom half we recommend your child wears dark joggers or leggings or something comfy which they can easily crawl around in and is easy for children to pull up and down independently.
- They will also need a pair of sensible velcro fitted shoes/ trainers for all the physical activities they will be taking part in and it also makes it easier for children to be a bit more independent when changing into outdoor wellies or boots.
You can currently purchase uniform from Totally Uniform in Oldswinford or order it online on their website (link below). We do also have a small collection of second-hand pieces available in Preschool for a small donation.
Please make sure you provide your child with:
- A warm, waterproof coat with hood
- Puddle suit or waterproof dungaree trousers
- Pair of wellies to keep in Preschool on their peg.
- Personalised St Mary’s drawstring bags are also available to purchase.
All items must be clearly labelled with the child’s name please.
*Open toed sandals, flip flops & heeled shoes are not permitted. We also ask you not to send your child in wearing any jewellery for health and safety reasons.
